Jennifer Pedranti Shares Her Kids' Honest Reaction to Being Evicted & Moving In with Ryan

Jennifer Pedranti dropped the bombshell that she and her five children were being evicted during the Season 18 premiere of The Real Housewives of Orange County. Now, she's sharing how her kids reacted to both the news of the eviction and that they'd be moving in with her her fiancé, Ryan Boyajian.

As Jennifer puts it in a preview for Episode 2, set to air on Thursday, July 18, "I was scared to death to sit the kids down and tell them, 'Hey, here's option A: move in with Ryan, or here's option B.' And honestly, I didn't even know what option B was."

The RHOC sneak peek then flashes to the conversation Jennifer had with four of her children, including 17-year-old Dawson, 14-year-old Greyson, 12-year-old Everleigh, and 10-year-old Dominic (all of whom she shares with her ex-husband, William "Will" Pedranti).

"Do you know how long we'll be at Ryan's?" Dawson asks. "Is it permanent?"

"I hope so," Jennifer responds before Everleigh chimes in, telling her mom, "I just want to find somewhere and just actually call it home, not keep moving."

Jennifer immediately tears up. "That's so hard to hear," she says. "I want that too."

With that, Jennifer makes it clear she's confident in her decision to move in with Ryan.

"I would do anything for my kids, and if moving in with Ryan was going to be a detriment to the kids and I, I'd live in the car," she explains in a confessional interview. "But I'm grateful that the kids are on board in this decision-making of moving in with Ryan."

Why did Jennifer Pedranti get evicted?

As Jennifer explained on the RHOC Season 18 premiere, she and her ex-husband, Will, were ultimately unable to afford their rent (on the house Gina Kirschenheiter helped find).

"I've been talking to my landlord. Just to catch myself up on rent, I feel like it was a number like 24,000 [dollars] or something," Jennifer said on the episode. "Since Will and I separated, we have made very little progress in my divorce. Unfortunately, it's taking Will a long time to turn in financials. He was responsible for the lion's share of the rent and I was responsible for a small portion."

Jennifer noted she was under the impression that rent was being fully paid, "but then I started seeing a group text with Will and I and the owner of the home, saying, 'I received partial payment of the rent. Are you gonna pay the rest of the rent?'"
