Kailyn’s Son Tried To Audition For Stranger Things
During a rather laid-back episode of the podcast, Jo revealed that Isaac, now 14, is gearing up to launch his acting career. This revelation comes after Isaac’s not-so-glamorous experience with a shady audition for Stranger Things.
Apparently, the whole thing was a dud, and Jo felt pretty awful seeing his son’s excitement turn into disappointment. “I felt so bad because he was so excited,” Jo admitted. Ouch!

“So, we were like, ‘We’re gonna set you up, we’re gonna do this the right way,'” Jo shared. The strategy? Get Isaac an agent, snap some professional headshots, and schedule a photoshoot. Jo’s ready to give his son all the tools he needs to shine.
“I want you to figure out what you need to be prepared for if you do have an audition,” he said. Sounds like a solid plan to us!

“Nobody is handing this to [him],” Jo pointed out. “It’s like, ‘Here’s the work, go do it. Let us help you. Tell us what you need and we’ll figure it out.'” Jo’s tough-love approach shows he’s all about making sure Isaac earns his spot rather than getting it handed to him.
