THE CHALLENGE'S Cory Wharton was called out for making an inappropriate joke about his baby mama, Taylor Selfridge.
While Cory seemed unphased by his comment, fans raged the contestant to "grow up."

During a video clip, The Challenge host TJ Lavin revealed the cash prize for season 40 is $1 million.
One confession stood out to fans as the clip panned out to different contestants sharing what they'll spend their prize money on.
Cory Wharton said if he won, he'd finally get married to his longtime partner, Teen Mom star Taylor Selfridge.
"If I can get the win, I could hear the wedding bells right now. The church choir," he said, adding, "Oh, I see the ring, baby. We are going down the alter."
However, fans pointed out that he has been with Taylor for nearly a decade and still hasn't asked her to marry him.
Viewers claimed his comment was a "joke" telling the contestant to "grow up."
"It’s like now he’s treating the whole getting married thing like a gimmick or a running joke. He has so much growing up to do," said one Instagram user.
"So he still playing around with the marriage thing? Idk how Taylor does it cuz now he's making it a joke," commented another.
"Why is marrying her predicated on winning The Challenge?! C'mon dude!" said a third.
While others slammed his comment as a joke, fans shared concern for Taylor, saying they "feel so bad for her."

"So his marriage to her is conditional... I feel so bad for her, that's a slap to her face," wrote a fan.
"I don't believe you Cory. poor Taylor," said another while a third commented, "The way Cory will never marry her and this is proof. 'When I win, we will get married.' Run Taylor, Run."
This isn't the first time fans have sympathized with Taylor.
While appearing on Teen Mom: Family Reunion earlier this year, fans slammed Cory for his drunken behavior as the two had a fight over the topic of his drinking.
"Taylor is a saint for putting up with Cory's constant need to be the center of attention IMO," said one viewer.
"How embarrassing I can't even imagine what she must put up with in private if this is how he acts in a house full of ppl and on tv!!" said another.
Cory and Taylor have a long history with reality TV.
The two met in November 2017 while filming Ex on the Beach.
Their relationship has been on and off for years. In 2019, Taylor revealed she and Cory were back together again.
That same year, the couple shared that they were expecting a baby.
On April 22, 2020, Taylor gave birth to their daughter, Mila.
Two years later, the two welcomed another daughter, Maya Grace, on June 10, 2022.
Cory also has a daughter with his ex-girlfriend, Cheyenne Floyd.
