Basketball legend Michael Jordan has previously revealed which type of opponent he found most difficult to play against, naming four who could have potentially beaten him in a 1 vs 1 game.
Jordan is seen by many as the NBA's greatest player of all time, with the American also widely viewed as one of the most influential sports stars in history.
During a stunning professional career, he got his hands on six NBA championships whilst playing for the Chicago Bulls.
He also won the Olympic gold medal on two occasions, in Los Angeles in 1984 and in Barcelona in 1992.
Since retiring from the sport, Jordan continued to be one of the biggest sportspersons in the world as a result of his work with Nike.
Despite being one of the GOATs of the sporting world, Jordan has previously named four players who could have got the better of him in a 1 vs 1 match due to their style of play.
As per Fadeaway World, Jordan said when asked about his toughest opponents: "The hardest opponent for me to play against? In terms of 1-on-1? Small guys.
"[Allen] Iverson, Damon Stoudamire, Rod Strickland. Those little guards like that, it's tough for me. Muggsy [Bogues]. [John] Starks? No problem with Starks."
Speaking about Allen Iverson in particular, Jordan said: "He could beat me on the perimeter, but I could take him in the post. He’s a heck of a good player. He's a young talent. He is gonna continue to get better once he learns how to play the game on a much higher scale.
"Right now, he's doing a lot on physical ability. He's good, he's quick. That's a challenge for me to go out to him and his stature. He's so quick and small. But it's a challenge. I won't back away."
In total, Jordan won six NBA Championships, six NBA Finals MVPs, five regular season MVPs, and one NBA Defensive Player of the Year.
Furthermore, he was an 11x All-NBA, 9x All-Defensive, 14x NBA All-Star, 10x NBA Scoring Champion, and 3x NBA Steals Champion.
