Peter Madrigal Claims Lisa Vanderpump is “Rebranding” TomTom as ‘Pump’ and Believes She Bought Sandoval & Schwartz Out of Their Partnership, Plus Shades Schwartz & Sandy’s

Peter Madrigal seems to believe that Lisa Vanderpump is making big changes at TomTom and potentially rebranding the restaurant, which she and her husband, Ken Todd, opened with Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz.

While appearing on a podcast on Monday, the Vanderpump Rules alum and longtime manager of SUR Restaurant revealed that Lisa, 63, appeared to have removed one of the TomTom signs and replaced it with one for Pump, her former restaurant next door that closed last year.

“I looked at it the other night and I don’t think the TomTom sign is on anymore. It’s something I noticed the other night,” Peter revealed on the August 12 episode of The Sarah Fraser Show, via The U.S. Sun. “She’s rebranding it as Pump. When you walk into that building, formerly known as TomTom, there’s a gate and it says Pump above it.”

As fans may recall, Lisa confirmed the closure of Pump last summer, citing rising rent costs.

When host Sarah Fraser questioned Peter about whether Lisa was “getting rid of TomTom” to “rebrand it as Pump,” Peter confirmed, “Yeah, I think so.”

When Lisa and Ken opened TomTom with Sandoval, 42, and Schwartz, 41, in 2018, the Toms were given 5% ownership of the business. Now, however, Peter says they likely own none.

“Is she buying them out of their partnership?” Sarah asked.

“I thought she already did,” he replied.

As for the Toms’ other business, Schwartz & Sandy’s, which opened in 2022, Peter said he “heard through the grapevine” that their Franklin Village bar is a “ghost town.”

Following the reveal of Sandoval’s affair with Rachel “Raquel Leviss, 29, in March 2023, patrons called for a boycott of the bar and guests left poor reviews. 

Also during the interview, Peter said that when it came to the future of Pump Rules, he felt that the show should be re-cast since no one is working at SUR, where the series originated, anymore.

 

“There would be more authenticity if everyone still worked here or get a new cast,” he said.

While there have been no reports regarding a full reboot of the show, there have been rumors of a potential spinoff with a new group of men and women working at the restaurant.
