Andy Cohen Is Bravo's 'Snake-In-Chief,' Kenya Moore's Ex Marc Daly Says

Back in June, Real Housewives Of Atlanta star Kenya Moore was suspended from the franchise, and recently, her ex-husband Marc Daly lashed out at Bravo head honcho Andy Cohen over how the situation was handled.

Kenya Moore: Marc Daly divorce 'at a standstill'

Andy has been directly involved in quite a bit of Bravo drama lately — he castigated Teresa Giudice's husband Louie Ruelas for what he said during part one of the RHONJ finale, he's dealing with a Real Housewives lawsuit, and he's been the subject of criticism by "multiple housewives."

In June, Kenya Moore became embroiled in the controversy that led to her Real Housewives suspension, after she was accused of sharing explicit images of RHOA newcomer Brittany Eady.

"The housewives" are typically the main draw in any Real Housewives franchise, but their boyfriends, husbands, and exes are prominent, too.

Acrimony between the unhappily married and recently divorced couples on Real Housewives is a large part of its dynamic, too, as fans count on breakups and make-ups to make the show interesting.

Kenya Moore and Marc Daly married in 2017, separated in 2019, tried to rekindle their relationship, separated again in 2021, and ultimately finalized the "world's longest divorce" in December 2023.

It's one thing for a person's current partner to step in and defend them, but quite another for their ex-spouse to do so, which makes what Marc Daly said about Andy Cohen and Kenya's treatment all the more weighty.

Potentially.

In the midst of the controversy that led to Kenya's suspension from RHOA, Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills alum Brandi Glanville chimed in to defend Moore.

In a series of tweets, Brandi accused Bravo's producers of several things, among them engineering dangerous situations, allowing physical altercations to occur, and goading "Housewives" into pushing things too far.

Notably, Brandi speculated that Kenya had been encouraged by producers to engage in the very behavior for which she was suspended:

"Women are physically fighting on RHNJ &that seems to be ok with producers. Where is HR now? Also [I'm] pretty sure producers pushed Kenya to show that video.

"They know what is going to happen before it does — Just like they all knew of [Taylor Armstrong's] physical abuse as it was happening[.]"

Brandi's comments from June echoed what Marc Daly said recently during an Instagram Live, one which was preserved by the Instagram account The Neighborhood Talk:

The clip begins almost mid-sentence, and Marc first talks about his direct experience with Bravo and the Real Housewives franchise.

Daly says that he personally had a mostly positive experience, naming one notable exception — Andy Cohen:

"Everyone I met through that experience was great, except for you know who.

"The producers [laughs] and Mr. [Andy] Cohen. The snake-in, in-chief.

"You guys know that, right? You see how they did Kenya dirty?"

That wasn't all Marc had to say, though.

He continued speaking, and asserted that the situation involving Kenya would not have happened on his watch:

"And you know, you know what's funny? Everyone always said, 'oh Marc, you this, oh Marc, you that,' but you know what? If I was there, they never would have had that crazy [unintelligible.]

"You know, a husband sometimes gotta stand up, the same way a wife gotta protect her husband if he's going off the rails. I woulda never have let that happen.

"You all woulda said 'oh, he's bossing her around,' but she still woulda got a check!"

In the second part of his remarks, Marc seemed to suggest that he would have prevented the controversy, and that fans would have called him controlling for doing so.

Many commenters were skeptical of Marc's sudden rush to defend Kenya, with many suggesting that his motives were not purely chivalrous:

"Dude defending because he want that check still 😂😂😂"

"Says the man that needs alimony. Boy byEE!!!"

"lol cause Kenya was paying him now his checks affected lol[.]"

In addition to fans speculating Marc's real gripe was with his post-divorce finances, others accused him of being no better in terms of doing Kenya dirty:

"You also did her dirty...🤦🏻‍♀"

"But you did her dirty-er, with an er[.]"

"Marc you were just dragging her through the court system. Sit this one out bby 😂"

"The people who did you dirty always have a problem with other people do it too. 🙄🙄"

Marc Daly's comments were only partly preserved, and he did not seem to elaborate on his precise beef with Andy Cohen.
